Mark Knight(マーク・ナイト)こと本名、Mark Kenneth Knight(マーク・ケネス・ナイト)は1973年6月20日生まれでイギリス、メードストン出身のハウス/ダンス/エレクトロニックを得意とするDJ兼プロデューサー。幼い頃から音楽に触れて育ったMark Knightはメードストンのナイトクラブで音楽活動をスタートし、2001年年のデビュー以来、大いなる自信とビジョンで急成長を遂げ2004年にToolroom Recordsを設立。初期の頃からTiesto、Underworld、Funkagendaなどとコラボし、「Man With The Red Face」、「Alright」をはじめ多くのヒットトラックを重ねており、2010年にはBlack Eyed Peasのアルバムプロデュースによりグラミー賞ノミネートも果たしている。また、Calvin HarrisやI Cona Popのプロデュース、Mｒ．Roysの90’sクラシックハウスリメイクやDavid Guettaのリミックスも手がけるなどトッププロデューサーとしての確固たる地位を築いてきた。もちろんDJとしても高い人気を誇るMarkは、世界中のビッグフェスからのオファーも絶えずCreamfierds、Sensation、Dance Valley、EDCには長年に渡り出演している。2014年のUMF JAPANでも磨かれたキャリアを物語る洗練されたセットプレーを披露し話題を呼んだ。現在では、Toolroomのラジオ番組やTomorrowlandのステージホスト、あたゆるパーティーの開催や音楽スクール展開に至るまで幅広い活躍を見せている。今後もハウスシーンを牽引する大御所として、多くのファンへ熟練されたハウスミュージックを届けてくれるだろう。
