Blasterjaxx（ブラスタージャックス）はオランダ出身のThom Jongkind（1990年3月3日生まれ）とIdir Makhlaf（1992年10月23日生まれ）からなるEDMデュオです。
010年、Scalixという名前で活動していたThom Jongkindは、Leon Vielvoijeというプロデューサーと組んでBlasterjaxxとしてのプロジェクトを進めていました。
徐々に人気を得ていたBlasterjaxxでしたが、ThomとLeonの関係は悪く結成してわずかでLeon Vielvoijeが脱退。
その後もThomひとりでBlasterjaxxとして活動していたとき、Macostaという名前で活動していたIdir Makhlafと何度かコラボをしていましたが、2012年最終的にIdirがBlasterjaxxに入り今のBlasterjaxxが生まれました。
デュオを組んですぐに、オランダのDJ/プロデューサーのD-Rashidとコラボして“Reborn”と“Where We Go”の2曲を収録した『Reborn EP』をリリース。
これらの曲はオランダのDJ、Laidback Luke（レイドバック・ルーク）のレーベル「Mixmash Records」と契約を結びました。
